Implementation Plan
In addition to using the exercises in the chapters and learning the information in the articles I will continue to work toward becoming a great leader and manager. I will continue to focus on my weaknesses and work on my goals to directly to improve upon them. I will continue to educate myself in the areas that are most crucial to the success of starting a business. I will use this book as a map for achieving my goals and as a resource as I do so. Now that I have organized my goals, assessed my strengths and weaknesses, and collected information in this book it will serve as a tool (continuously changing and evolving) to help me reach my career aspirations. I will modify my implementation plan and use it as a checklist for achieving my goals (listed below). I will adjust my goals and dissect them into smaller steps/goals as appropriate. This process will be ongoing and I will continue to assess myself and identify areas where improvement/education is needed.
My goals:
Short term goals: 1-3 years
-Complete MBA program
-Research and complete credentialing for NC RT consultants
-Research NC standards and laws pertaining to RT
-Network with other RT consulting companies across the country
-Write a business plan
-Write a program plan for each market (patient population) that I will be working with
-Begin consulting on a part time basis
Mid term: 3-5 years
-Consult full time
-Begin entering new markets (i.e. group homes, assisted living facilities, psychiatric programs and facilities, etc.)
-Hire consultants (as needed)
Long term: 5+ years
-Grow the business beyond NC
-Develop a RT training program for large hospitals/facilities
